FODR® is a data recorder designed to meet 14 CFR part 135.607 requirements.
FODR® is an electronic measurement and recording system which stores select aerodynamic, mechanical, weather and operational data associated with the use of aircraft, particularly helicopters. FODR® collects and stores this information in electronic format for such uses as operational review (SMS, FOQA), maintenance, warranty repair, exceedance tracking, and mishap investigation.
FODR® records 2200 hours of critical information at five times per second.
After flight, stored data is accessed via your laptop through a USB port.
